-Covorasele sunt fabricate dintr-un material rezistent la uzura iar partea inferioara a covoraselor este acoperita cu o mocheta granulara ce previne alunecarea lor.
-La zona de la calcaiul soferului este aplicata o dublura pentru a creste rezistenta la uzura a covorasului deoarece acesta este supus cel mai mult uzurii.
-Marginea mochetei este cusuta.
